Good buy, better than I expected, with 1 caveat… Works great, better than expected! I bought it to transfer stuff off of my DirecTV HD DVR and it works exactly as I had hoped, even automatically to record whatever resolution you throw at it, so if I down-rez my DirecTV DVR to 720p or even 480p, the box senses it & adjusts appropriately. Video quality seems rock solid. The file-size is limited to 2gb, which is about 15mins of HD1080p video, so you’ll end up with multiple files as the record spans the recording to fit the 2gb limit.
