UPDATED on March 9: Well…with enough time…. I’ve just completed the 48 hour waiting period as directed on the package. But first, let me say this:**the silica gel beads are inside a hard plastic “disk” thing with ventilation holes on the top and bottom. These are entirely unyielding devices and BARELY allow room inside the mylar pouch for the phone to be enclosed.**the silica gel beads are orange at the outset, and are supposed to turn green when they’ve absorbed the moisture. yeah, that didn’t happen. at all…

Mom knows best I had 3 year old kit I have taken on trips with my kids laughing at me because these kits don’t work.
